At 17, Joosje Duk left for New York through UStudy. She joined a bachelor’s program at New York University allowing her to make her own choices: acting, filmmaking, and journalism. That freedom, combined with international experience proved invaluable.
What started as a leap into the unknown led to a career as a film director. Her professional highlight so far is the series Máxima, now available in 85 countries worldwide. Her story was recently featured in ‘Het Financieele Dagblad’.
It shows that sometimes you do not need to have everything figured out — you just need the courage to start. 🌍
