Saint Michael’s College is a liberal arts college in the beautiful state of Vermont, in the north east of the US. The college offers 30 study disciplines to almost 2,000 students, of which more than 80% are originally from outside of Vermont. Every year a number of Dutch students also study at SMCVT (including student-athletes). The college is located very close to Burlington, the largest city in Vermont with a very international and bustling character. It is amongst the top 3 best college cities in the US.
Admission is in August and January each year. SMCVT have several sport teams that compete in the NCAA Division II. SMCVT offers academic scholarship to talented international students, and sports scholarships to top student-athletes in a number of sports.
It is also possible to do a gap semester or a gap year as a so-called ‘non-degree student’ at SMCVT, or to participate in a language course – for these options the admissions process is less rigorous and costs are not as high.
Jeremy Brown – Associate Director of Admissions at Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont will be presenting on 19 November, 14:00-16:00 at UStudy. Admission is free but registration is required beforehand due to limited space.
