English Language Courses
There are several types of English language courses for young people aged 13 years and older, anywhere in the US. These are mostly on the campus of a college or university. They range across all levels from intensive to semi-intensive to an English vacation. Alternatively, they may offer preparation for the TOEFL and SAT tests. The courses can begin very week in the year and the course duration varies from 3 weeks to one year. Accommodation is available with a host family or in student housing at or near the campus. In order to participate in 20 lessons or less per week, for a maximum period of 90 days, it is not necessary to obtain a student visa, only a tourist visa waiver (ESTA).
