Flagler-logo

Location: Saint Augustine, Florida

Type: Private, liberal arts college

Flagler College is a fully accredited, co-educational, private liberal arts college of 2600 students representing 40 states and 43 countries. It was founded in 1968 and is set in 19 acres of land in the heart of the historical city of Saint Augustine on the Atlantic coast of Florida. The stunning campus with its Spanish architecture and beautiful lawns is located one kilometer from the Atlantic Ocean and its beaches, and approximately two hours northeast of Orlando.

Its most popular undergraduate majors include business administration, communications, sports management, psychology, coastal environmental science and visual arts. Internships are a critical part of most curricula and contribute greatly to student success upon graduation. Flagler College is SAT/ACT optional.

There is a dedicated ‘First Year Experience (FYE) Program’ aimed to aid the transition of new students into a campus community and help achieve academic success and personal development of every student. The first year program integrates new students into the intellectual, cultural, and social life of the college, introduces students to a challenging academic community in which they engage in active learning, and fosters a collaborative campus environment in which students receive personalized support from faculty, staff and administrators. Every college department promotes these goals and is dedicated to working together to ensure that during their first year Flagler students become active, vital members of the college community.

Not only do students choose Flagler to earn a degree, but they also go to have an “educational experience,” one that is enriched by the size of the college, the quality of the programs and services, the commitment of the talented and dedicated faculty and staff.

Flagler College is consistently recognized by a variety of respected publications and journals as being one of the best college values in the nation.
