GO USA Education Fair!

The 2016 Go USA Education Fair will be held on Saturday 17 September from 12:30 – 17:00 at the International School of The Hague. Visitor and exhibitor registration is now open!

Why come to the Go USA Education Fair?

In 2015, more than 30 international educational institutions participated in UStudy’s annual education fairs. These included Ivy League universities such as Harvard, Yale and Cornell, community colleges such as Skagit Valley College and Green River College, and a variety of public research universities, private universities, and liberal arts colleges, as well as college prep schools (high schools). Special expert seminars were also organized to present on a number of topics related to education in the US, such as the experience of being a student-athlete, and being an international student at Cornell University.

“We asked a lot of questions, and all of the exhibitors were very friendly and gave us a lot of information,” said Isabella Timmer, a 4th year student from the European School of Bergen. Her classmate Miryam Vermaat commented: “Many of the exhibitors spoke Dutch, which was really handy for the visitors.”

Visiting parents felt that the fairs gave them a better idea of what is involved in their child’s journey to a US education. “I was very happy that the fair was organized, as this is an exciting time for parents and this made it clear to us that if your child wants to study overseas, it is important to start the process early,” said Erwin Sundahl, whose daughter is an AISR student.
