Find Out About A Liberal Arts Education – November 19, 14:00-16:00

BHI# 08-051 - Saint Michael's College

Come along to a presentation by a number of guest speakers from liberal arts colleges in the US and find out more about the advantages of a liberal arts education.

Virginia Groves – Director of International Admissions at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, Jeremy Brown – Associate Director of Admissions at Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont, and Mark Wells – Assistant Dean and Director of Admissions at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York will be paying a special visit to the UStudy office. The purpose is to conduct a presentation that is open to students, parents and guidance counselors about the opportunities and experiences for international students who want to learn more about a liberal arts degree in the US.

The topics covered include:

* the education system in general & liberal arts education specifically
* study options
* the admissions process
* financial aspects & scholarships
* accommodation, visa, employment, insurance
* varsity sports

And more….

There will also be time for 1-on-1 conversations.

Date: Wednesday, 19th November

Time: 14:00 – 16:00

Location: UStudy office at Wilgendreef 83, Voorburg, near The Hague. Free parking is available.

Admission is free however there are a limited number of places available so we kindly ask that you register your attendance.
