UStudy Director Marina Meijer addresses a packed seminar at the 2013 Go USA College Fair

UStudy offers FREE information seminars on May 31 and June 1

At UStudy’s Education Fairs 2014 – we will empower you with information. Back-to-back expert sessions between 13:00 – 16:00 will be held at both the Rotterdam and Antwerp venues, with experts covering key topics – such as the value of a US diploma, understanding US community colleges and how to choose and apply to UK universities.

Our speakers include Rob van Haarlem of Harvard University who will speak about applying to Harvard and the Ivy League system. UStudy Director Marina Meijer will host two sessions; one for potential student athletes and their opportunities in varsity sport and another specially designed for guidance counselors and other education professionals.

Alexia Mallios, a consultant and US Expert with Nuffic, will talk about evaluating American diplomas in the Netherlands, while Steve Bristol from The Hun School of Princeton explains the value of doing a post-graduate or 13th year. Tim Oldeman is a Dutch student who attended Cornell University, and will be talking about his experiences at an Ivy League school, the facilities and student life, and the career opportunities that opened up.

In addition to these, at the fair in Antwerp representatives from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge will talk about undergraduate student life at these institutions and how to present a strong application..

You can find the complete schedule of sessions here: www.ustudy.eu/eng/fairs/speakers-at-the-fairs/

All sessions are FREE but you must REGISTER online.

Information is power… and at UStudy’s Education Fairs 2014, it’s also GRATIS.
