A large variety of courses are offered through nine academic departments: Art, Classics, English, History, Mathematics, Modern Language, Music, Research and Academic Skills, Science, and Technology.
A pre-engineering program is also offered to raise awareness and interest in engineering throughout the school and identify interested students with the potential to succeed in engineering-related studies.
SEEK (Summer Educational Experience at Kent) courses are also offered.

Housing:
The majority of students attending Kent School are boarders (i.e. they live on campus) in one of six single sex on-campus residential dormitories: Borsdorff Hall, Case Dorm, Field Dorm, Hoerle Hall, Middle Dorm, North Dorm.
Kent School residential life is very active with lots of after-school and weekend activities, as well as a supportive and safe environment.

- Schedule an interview (we do Skype interviews if students cannot make it to Kent for a visit)
- Submit SSAT common application
- Submit current year and prior year transcripts
- Submit 3 letters of recommendation: Current English Teacher, Current Math Teacher and counselor (could be principal, college counselor, school counselor etc.)

Tuition:
Tuition for the 2016-2017 school year for boarding students is: $58,450. There are some fees on top of that.
