UStudy Director Marina Meijer has been appointed to be the ‘Guidance Counselor For The US’ at The International School of The Hague. As of 1 October 2015, Marina will provide regular consultation services from her office at the ISH for interested students and their parents. She will be available to answer questions such as: How do I choose a school? How can I find a scholarship? How can I find a varsity sports team that matches my skills at a school that also suits my academic goals? What is the application process?
Information sessions for ISH students, student-athletes and their parents will be provided. In addition, UStudy will also arrange SAT and ACT preparation workshops.
UStudy is proud of this appointment and is happy to see that Marina’s expertise as a study advisor is becoming more widely recognized and will be applied to assist students more directly within a high school environment such as the ISH.
Are you also interested in having this service be made available at your school? If so, please contact us.
For interested guidance counselors: our Decanen Workshop (which will be conducted in Dutch) will be held on 30 October in Wageningen. There are still places available if you would like to participate.
