Athletics:
Marshall University athletic teams are known as the ‘Thundering Herd’. They participate in Conference USA and are ranked in the NCAA Division I.

Entry requirements:
An overall high school GPA of at least a 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and a composite score of at least a 19 on the ACT or a critical reading + math score of at least 910 on the SAT or an overall GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and a composite score of at least 16 on the ACT or a critical reading + math score of 780 on the SAT.
