School Counselors and UStudy

School Counselors and UStudy

By UStudy

School counselors play a vital role in the success of students, providing them with encouragement and supporting their academic and personal development. Today’s students are increasingly looking further afield for suitable academic challenges and studying in the US is an exciting and viable option. UStudy can provide you with clear information about educational opportunities so that you can confidently assist your students or clients about the following:

  • the US educational system
  • the financial costs involved and funding or scholarship options
  • the value of a US diploma
  • how to choose the right schools
  • the application process

Our expertise doesn’t stop there. We help facilitate co-operative relationships with US partner institutions, student and teacher exchanges or summer programs at US prep schools, colleges or universities.

UStudy can support you by identifying appropriate partner institutions throughout the US and help create a US style marketing text and a marketing plan for your institution. We can organize a study trip to the US for students (such as a Study Abroad Program), teachers and staff and inform you about practical matters such as visas and insurance. We can aid in introducing US education materials and central exams in secondary education (Advanced Placement courses) and offer a wide range of workshops to assist in the application process.

We are happy to meet with your organization to discuss in detail the options available for students, teachers and counselors/international officers who are interested in studying in the US.

UStudy also offers a unique Student Ambassador program, letting former students speak for themselves. Returning students can visit your school to share their personal experiences studying, living, and playing sports in the US. These Student Ambassadors are very effective at genuinely connecting with their peers and sharing their personal stories.

Additionally, UStudy will be hosting a professional seminar on the topic in the near future specifically to address the needs of school counselors. This seminar will be advertised on our website closer to the date.

UStudy is an independent company. We are not affiliated with the US government, nor any other organization or program. We work solely in the client’s best interests.
