Athletics:
The Skagit Valley College athletics team are known as the “Cardinals”. They participate in the North West Athletic Conference and are members of the North West Atlantic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC).
Mens’ teams: Baseball, basketball, cross-country/track, golf, soccer, and tennis.
Women’s teams: Softball, volleyball, cross-country/track, basketball, tennis, and soccer.

Housing:
On campus – at “Campus View Village”, which is a cluster of contemporary apartment buildings nestled in a wooded, park-like setting on the northwest border of Skagit Valley College’s Mount Vernon Campus. The village is just steps away from Skagit Valley College’s classrooms, library, computer labs, campus theatre, gymnasium, and other campus services. The community also adjoins jogging trails and playfields.
Homestay – a living arrangement available to international students who would like to live with an American family. In return for a monthly payment a Host family provides the student with a private room and home atmosphere. This setting works well for a student who wants to interact as a family member, often sharing meals and activities.

*Subject to change by the Washington state legislature and/or the Skagit Valley College Board of Trustees. All students pay a Student Technology Fee of $5.00 per credit ($40 maximum), a Student Self-Assessed Fee of $1.50 per credit ($15 maximum) and a General Fee of $2.50 ($42.50 maximum), and a Universal Tech Fee of $8.00 per credit. Tuition is based on taking 15 credits per quarter. Immigration requires that students take at least 12 credits per quarter.
SVC also offers a Tuition Payment Plan that allows students to make payments on their tuition over the course of a quarter. Students must make a down payment of 40% of their tuition and a $30.00 processing fee.
