The Hun School of Princeton – Platinum Sponsor 2014

Krogh_090428_8151

The Hun School of Princeton is an independent coeducational college preparatory school, nestled on an idyllic 45 acre campus, less than two miles from downtown Princeton and Princeton University. Students in grades six through a post-graduate year comprise a student body of 614, representing a diverse blend of nationalities, races, religions, and traditions. The Hun School is home to 150 resident students from across the country and world, as well as 28 members of the faculty.
The Hun School provides a diverse community that places a high value on a creative and rigorous traditional college preparatory curriculum in a structured environment; develops character, community and values; meets the students’ differing talents, interests and academic needs through a supportive staff in a variety of programs; and encourages students to widen their horizons, gain an appreciation for and an excitement about learning and achieve their full potential.
The Arthur Rozas International Student Program enables students to achieve English language competency at a level that will allow them to be successful at an American college or university. Students are provided with a fundamental background in grammar, vocabulary, critical reading, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and composition.
The Hun School Athletic Program provides a safe environment for students to develop positive habits and attitudes about social and group living through athletic participation. Athletics is embraced as a demonstration of the school’s larger community standards and for the educational value inherent in sports for each student. Sports offered include baseball, basketball, crew (rowing), cross-country, field hockey, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and track and field.

Some impressive statistics about The Hun School include:95% of alumni surveyed reported Hun School faculty made a lasting difference in their life.100% of students participate in at least one of the School’s 54 clubs.42 Presidential Scholars* in the Class of 2013.30% of students receive financial aid.96% of surveyed parents reported their child was positively impacted by their interactions on campus.32 student-athletes in the Class of 2013 will compete in NCAA collegiate athletics.13 students in an average class size.1:7 student to faculty ratio.*The United States Presidential Scholars Program is “one of the Nation’s highest honors for high school students” in the US. It was established in 1964 by executive order of the President of the United States to recognize and celebrate distinguished American graduating high school seniors.

steve_bristol from Hun SchoolSteven Bristol, Director of Admission, Financial Aid, and Enrollment will be attending the Go USA Education Fair at the American International School in Rotterdam (May 31); and the Go USA/Europe Education Fair at the Antwerp International School (June 1). Steven will be doing a special presentation at both fairs about the college preparatory program offered at The Hun School that is extremely effective and successful in preparing students for top colleges and universities, as well as the unique opportunities for student-athletes to learn how to succeed in their sport, their academics and personal development for life.
