About:
West Hills College (WHC) is a public two-year community college serving students in the San Joaquin Valley. There are two campuses: the original campus in Coalinga, established in 1932, with 1,200 students, and the Lemoore campus, built in 2002 and serving 3,200 students. In addition, there is a center at Firebaugh and classes are offered at Lemoore Naval Air Station.
It is one of the 12 California community colleges that have dormitories and attracts students from around the world. WHC actively recruits students from other countries to enroll at WHC. English as a Second Language programs are generous. In addition, classes from California State University, Fresno are video-conferenced in at the Lemoore campus and Fresno Pacific University offers two bachelor’s degree programs on the campus of West Hills College Lemoore.

Transfer programs are also available.
Both campuses offer sports programs. Coalinga offers football, baseball and basketball for men and volleyball and softball for women. Lemoore offers soccer and golf for men and women, basketball for women, cross country for women and wrestling for men. Other sports programs are being added.
West Hills College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The West Hills College athletics team are known as the “Golden Eagles”. They participate in the Central Valley Conference and are members of the California Community College Athletics Association (CCCAA).
Mens’ teams: Cross-country, golf, soccer, and wrestling.
Women’s teams: Basketball, cross-country, golf, and soccer.

The fee for international student tuition is $200.00 per unit. This fee is in addition to a $46 per unit enrollment fee mandated by the State of California.
International students must also pay an additional $35.00 per unit capital outlay fee and a non-refundable $100 per semester processing fee.
This estimate does not include the summer semester or other expenses such as additional coursework, entertainment, travel, clothing, medicine, automobiles, special recreation and activities, etc. Actual tuition and other expenses could be higher and are subject to change.
Financial aid/scholarships: Only available for US citizens and eligible non-citizens.
