(September 12, Shippensburg, USA) Former UStudy client, Suzanne Muller, a freshman at Shippensburg University in the US, became the first international player to score a goal in a field hockey game for Shippensburg. Muller scored a goal against the current No 1 team, West Chester University, propelling Shippensburg to the top spot in the rankings.
Muller, who went to school in Overijssel and played with the Deventer Hockey Vereniging, was interviewed by local news channels after the game. “First, you don’t know what to expect when you come here… my teammates are so nice and they really help you (adjust),” she was quoted as saying in an interview to 21 News.
